I don't know if Bayern Munich could advance in UEFA Champions League at the time they are failing in 1.Bundesliga. I mean winning Bundesliga title was an easy job for Bayern Munich but this year with Bayer Leverkusen performance, most people doubt they could lift it instead of Leverkusen.
When it comes to Champions League, teams like Manchester City are favourite and Bayern Munich needs to face easier teams and wait for a mistake from the other top clubs to get the title which isn't obvious in my opinion.
Bayern Munich's performance in the Bundesliga this season is not what anyone would have expected given how consistent they are every season in winning the title; they've met a strong opponent, Bayern Leverkusen this season who aren't willing to make things easier for them, but rather make it difficult for them to win the league title. Their performance in the Bundesliga should not be used to judge them in the Champions League because the two competitions are very different, and what they struggle with in the Bundesliga may be easier for them in the Champions League if they remain determined and focused on winning the title there as well. Bayern Munich is having a really tough season in the Bundesliga, but I still believe they can be a potential contender of the Champions League trophy this season still.
Bayern really dealt with Mainz today as they thrashed them 8:1 in a game that looked so easy for them.Goals were pouring like water as Mainz were unable to hold them not to score many goals.The Tittle race to me is over because Leverkusen cannot allow teams win them to be able to let Bayern get to them.Leverkusen is the only team that have not lose a single game this season,and that is to show how good Xabi Alonso could be.Bayern will only try all they could to make sure they don't lose or draw any match again,else the point gap Leverkusen and them will be much,and it will be embarassing for them.
