It is expected that many altcoins are going to move that much. As much as we are seeing right now, there goes the meme coins that have been significantly pumping but even with that, I am not going to get into it because I feel that I am late with them. A thought of having a 5x gain is realistic and that's why OP is in good hands with his idea of getting this amount of gain and it's very likely to be reached as long as he does what he have to do like doing his own research. There are too many projects that are encouraging investors to come to them because they are having a successful airdrop but that doesn't mean that the project is solely successful just because of that. It's part of their marketing and every investor understands that it shouldn't be the only basis for them to choose that project.
As time goes by, you'd see the coins that will be up and down and those that are stable and those that don't move that much. I'd like to put some of my money on those that haven't pumped yet because there's a bigger chance that they're the next in line. While those that have pumped already, they're likely to become stagnant as the time goes by so, if you're going to choose some altcoins out there, I wouldn't bet on the unknown and uncommon ones for which is the choice of many that they're having by looking at low their market capitalizations are. But for me, it doesn't work like that, it's still like a lottery for having that kind of basis.
