I was having high hopes of seeing Atletico madrid took down Inter Milan in this round, but after seeing the first game and the lasts games played by the Atletico Madrid is being more and more difficult to see it happening.

With Atletico Madrid poor performance today in their local matches against Cadiz, I have lost confidence in them that they will be able to qualify to the next round this season. This is because their visitors are very strong this season, and they also have strong defence which might make it impossible to Atletico to penetrate their defence.
However, I wouldn't use the performance of clubs in their local leagues to judge the outcome of UCL matches, but I don't think that Atletico will survive in this round, because if they were unable to score Cadiz how will it be possible for them to score Inter that is much more stronger than Cadiz. It's definitely hard to see how Atletico Madrid would beat Inter Milan, but it is still only one goal that sets Inter apart from them. And it is a home game, so I wouldn't write them off yet. Atletico has had spectacular games in the past in the Champions League, but I agree that this loss against Cadiz was rough. It's certainly no boost to their self-confidence and losing against a team that is fighting against relegation is a real bummer. Looking at the stats I think this was one of the poorest games Atletico Madrid has played this season. On the other hand, Inter Milan keeps performing without any problems.
