What is happening with Atletico Madrid?
I write right now in the Champions League thread about them, because i was having high hopes of seeing them winning against Inter Milan, but man they are playing horrible right now. And they are not longer so effective in defense like in the past, seems like they are suffering so much for not having Griezman in the starter 11.
even a team like cadiz can beat atletico madrid, let alone a team like inter in the ucl later. atm really lacks attacking power, i don't like the strategy i use, simeone doesn't place a center attacker when facing cadiz, as a result the attacking power becomes dull. this season is very bad for atm, girona's performance is much better than them
(i really believe girona will be able to finish in the top 3 until the end of the season)That is just the fact that Atletico Madrid lost the game against Cadiz. It is because of their formation. Why will Atletico Madrid play such a formation with them when they see Cadiz playing 4-4-2? This is the biggest mistake that they made, which also affected them, and they lost by two goals. I was not happy to see the performance that they displayed yesterday in the field. It did not make any sense because when Atletico knows that they are facing Inter Milan in the Champions League and they are playing such a game, that will make people lose hope in them because they will find it hard to win against Inter Milan. if what they did yesterday is what they will still play.
And again, talking about Girona, they really tried yesterday in their game to gain points, which is why they resulted in 2nd place in the table now, and there are just 5 points below Real Madrid, which, if they put more effort in, will be like a changing story to them since they are not facing any strong teams in the next two games that they have. This is just the opportunity they have to use and get the points that will give them more distance from Barcelona because they are just a point above them, but there is a probability that they might finish the league in the top 3 in the table, no doubt.
