According to Football Insider, Phil Foden is expected to sign a new contract with Manchester City shortly. This is expected to make him one of the top earners in the squad.
Foden is always showing improvements day by day. He deservs a new contract from manchester city and i do support the decision. Foden becomes a very important asset owned by city and i hope he will agree with it. The bad news if city has been rumored to sell de bruyne to the saudi pro league club. I can't even accept that since Pep Guardiola still needs him right now. De Bruyne deserves a new contract like Foden. I think that all of important players need to be defended to stay even longer in the squad. it will be so stupid if city will sell de bruyne after it was extending foden's contract.
Foden is one of the most important players in the squad right now. He has played a really big role in Manchester City's success so far. He has made an important level of score contribution in this season as well. I don't feel like Manchester City would let go of a wonderful talent like him that easy. Foden also seems to have no problem on leaving his future for Manchester City to decide too. 
As he is fitting this team solidly I wouldn't also like to see him leaving in a short time.

He has developed his performance quite well since he came to Manchester City. The decision to extend his contract was actually the best decision. As he is fitting this team solidly I wouldn't also like to see him leaving in a short time.I'm still concerned about the future of de Bruyne in Manchester City because there is no sign from the city to extend his contract. Im seeing de bruyne as the most important player owned by city too. he is also even more important compared to the haaland.
It's hard to get a potential talent like all of these players.
