Whatever is the tree, and so is its fruit. So when parents are gambling, most likely children will also imitate what their parents are doing, and might be thinking that gambling is the best and the most effective way to gain profits. They will continue to absorb this mindset even when they get matured, and even when they have learned in school that severe gambling is not good at all, but deep in their hearts, they will still chose to gamble because even their parents have been gambling throughout the years.

This is a sad reality that children are the most affected individuals when it comes to gambling. Good thing if they can be guided by some good people around, and will correct their mindset about gambling. But if the environment they will grow are populated by gamblers, then it’s a sure thing that these children will definitely grow into addicted gamblers as well.
If gambling is a prevalent activity within the household, it's likely that children will perceive it as a normative behavior. The impact of this can be profound, because it shapes their beliefs and attitudes towards gambling from a young age. Despite receiving education about the risks associated with excessive gambling, the ingrained influence of parental behavior may override this knowledge that leads children to perceive gambling as a viable means of gaining profits.

This perpetuates a cycle of gambling behavior within families, wherein young generation is predisposed to engage in similar activities due to learned behaviors and societal norms. Breaking free from this cycle can be challenging, especially if children are surrounded by an environment where gambling is normalized and accepted. Addressing the root causes of gambling addiction requires community-wide efforts to promote responsible gambling practices and support mechanisms for those at risk.

Yes that's right, the biggest impact will be felt by children and most likely their future will be guaranteed, or in the sense that their future will be very bad when gambling activities are ingrained in their lives. Honestly, I really can't imagine the impact if this situation really happens in a family environment, losing balance in terms of finances is something they will definitely experience and the worst thing is like what you said about the mindset of a child who over time will assume and think that gambling is an activity that is not a problem for them to always do, and this is dangerous.

Of course in the end it is the younger generation who will be the victims of the mistakes of adults or their parents who normalize gambling activities in their environment. But on the other hand I think this kind of situation is quite unlikely to happen in an environment that relates the role of many people, one of the reasons is because I think there will be some people who can really think rationally about gambling, especially when they experience a lot of losses because gambling is always about risky activities, meaning that not only will they win but losing is also a certainty, and there may be some people who think that it is better to avoid gambling because they experience a number of losses that are quite disruptive financially in their lives.
