Diego Simeone will try his best for his club to draw tie with Inter Milan and probably win but it'd all in words, let him put in the actions. Simeone Inzaghi have made plans for his victories in matches and aiming to reach the final again and this time, it wouldn't be just a final but a top one. Atletico madrid messed up in the first leg against Inter Milan, currently the top clubs comes with decisive points but trembled upon the feet of the Italian side. Diego Simeone must into the weaknesses of his team because everything is falling off balance.
Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid is always dangerous.

They couldn't show a good performance in the first leg. I assume that nobody would deny that. Simeone was okay to get even a draw to go more attacking in the second leg. But Inter still got what they wanted from the match by one goal.
Inter have a good advantage in their hands now. But there is still a really tough match waiting for them. Inzaghi rested Lautaro and had some starting eleven players on the pitch for 60 minutes in the Bologna match. I think Inter will fight really strongly in Spain as well to advance to quarter finals.

I like them more in terms of defending and attacking now.
They are dangerous, correct, but this is definitely not the Atletico Madrid from five years ago. They have always been infamous for their amazing defense, but that's quite some time ago. It doesn't mean there would be any good reason to not take them as seriously as in the past, but still I would be shocked if they were to beat Inter Milan. On that level it is of course possible that they have a good run in their game at home and score first, but if that doesn't happen, I think Inter Milan is one level too high and too clever and strategically too strong to still give this away.
I know it could turn into one of these ugly games that Diego Simeone loves so much, but Inter Milan can be quite ugly as well if needed. They know how to play this game. But yes I can only recommend everyone to get ear plugs for this one as well as Simeone will scream the hell out of his body!

He is probably the only one who can compete with Jurgen Klopp when he is freaking out. I would love to see both of these coaches one day make their most aggressive faces and stand head to head, I think everyone knows what that means.
