Pep is happy because his team got one point from Liverpool in a match they let Liverpool dominates it and creates more opportunities. If Liverpool players especially Diaz shot better, Liverpool would have scored 2 or 3 more goals in this match.
I thought this will be a match that Liverpool will win even though it is a close score because it looks like they will be able to do it because in the second half their game was much better but unfortunately several opportunities failed to be maximized well, especially when several times Luis Diaz's kicks were not perfect.
The entry of Mohammad Salah provided quite a different resistance for Liverpool, but unfortunately it was still unable to change the result of the match.
Arsenal is certainly the team that is happiest with the results of their competitors' matches, but usually when they take the lead of the standings their performance is disappointing, perhaps because Arsenal's young players are not strong enough to bear the pressure of having to maintain their position.
I really think it does not make sense for Liverpool to hire Mourinho as their next coach after Klopp. Because philosophy of Klopp and Mourinho is very different and Liverpool probably don't want to see big changes in their team tactics after years of successfully built up by Klopp. He will leave at the season ending but already put a strong foundation for Liverpool to move on well.
Mourinho was only successful in the English Premier League when he was Chelsea coach but when he was at Manchester United he was unable to repeat this achievement, likewise when he was in Serie A he was only successful at Inter Milan but when he was at AS Roma he failed to repeat it even though he was good enough to lead the club won the conference league title, what if he went to Liverpool? I think he too will fail to bring this team to be better or to still become a competitive team to compete with several strong teams as champions of the English Premier League, another younger coach like Julian Nagelsmann might be able to make Liverpool remain a strong team in the English Premier League after leaving Jürgen Klopp next season.
