For now, Arsenal are back on top of the table with 64 points but are able to beat Liverpool who have the same points with goals difference and this is giving Gunners fans the world over the hope that they might be eligible to win the title this season. While there are those who are happy for this progress, there are some who feel this is just another happenstance as this was the same feat they achieved last season; scoring many goals, conceding less and passing their competition with a huge point difference yet they managed to bottle it when it mattered the most.
Kyle Walker of Man City is also strongly in support of Liverpool winning the title than Arsenal and I think Arteta and his men have got their work cut out for them. Can the Gunners be able to silence critics and carry this cup?
Many of us considered Liverpool and Manchester City to be the favorites for this season's title. And I thought the title fight would basically be between City and Liverpool. Many of us didn't think that Arsenal were favorites to win the championship. But Arsenal are in great form anyway. The team is consistently performing well. And right now the top spot in the table is occupied by Arsenal.
A few days ago Arsenal team won against Liverpool. And I would say that one of the obstacles to Arsenal's title is Manchester City. If Arsenal can win the match against Manchester City in the last week of March, I don't think anyone can stop Arsenal from being champions this season. Arsenal players are performing well in every match. I am looking forward to the Manchester City vs Arsenal match on March 31. If this match is also a draw then Liverpool will probably be champions.
