In the end, the match between Fiorentina and AS Roma achieved a 2:2 draw, in fact AS Roma played more dominantly in that match and was able to put a lot of pressure on the home team as well as Fiorentina who did not want to experience defeat. After AS Roma being one goal behind in the first half played more aggressively and were able to equalize but not long after Fiorentina was able to increase the total goals to 2 goals but Roma was able to create an epic comeback towards the last minute so the match ended in a 2:2 draw and both teams had to be satisfied with the result of sharing the points. AS Roma also improved close to the top four.
Roma were a little lucky with the equalizing goal scored by Diego Llorente at the end of the match which made the score even.Overall Roma's performance was quite impressive in this match, whatever the final result they got, but in my opinion this is a fair result for Roma because it is not easy for them to play at Fiorentina's home ground and Fiorentin is one of the top teams in Serie A. A team , of course it is not easy to play to beat them.
This week, Bologna, who is in 4th place, also suffered a defeat, so Roma have slightly reduced the points gap from Bologna, making the competition for 4th place even more interesting.
I see Roma's performance increasing and I am quite optimistic that they can fulfill their target, namely finishing in the top 4 of the final Serie A standings.
About Roma and this game, that's much that's just being lucky. In fact, they have had good performances since De Rossi started working at Roma and his performance even made the fans happy to see their team get good results in the Serie A games which can even put Roma to be in a better place at the table if they can continue this good performance in the next games.
But in the game between Roma and Fiorentina, Roma was really lucky to get a draw in this match because Fiorentina had many more gaol opportunities than Roma, especially in the first half of the game when Roma was totally shocked by the good performance by Fiorentina.
The second half was in favor of Roma, and they took advantage of it properly which was a great moment for them, after their equalizer goal that was scored at the end of the match before stoppage time. Since Di Rossi took over Roma performance have been superb, which made them to have only lost one match.
