An "easy 90 minutes" you say. Lol. This is funny considering the fact that Arsenal were firing just like this before they went to Portugal and couldn't get a shot on target. The champions League is a different ball game. It is with this kind of overconfidence that Arsenal lost the first leg.
I agree that Arsenal will press a lot but we all know how football is, a goal from Porto will make things more difficult from Arsenal.
One thing with premier League fans is that they underrate other leagues too much. I remember when Manchester United was about to play Villarreal in the Europa final some years back, all United fans and former players said it was a walk over. Maybe if they had taken time and watched other leagues they would have known better. Porto are not pushovers. They won't go to the Emirates to make things "easy" for Arsenal.
I know Arsenal are favourites but saying they'll win easily might not be true.
I'm not at all surprised about such assumptions from some Arsenal fans, they are overly optimistic about big things but it hasn't been proven yet. Arsenal have done a good job every season, but they are just a failed team that has not been able to win the title under Arteta. This season could be different, but Arsenal's chances in the Champions League are no higher than other representatives of the Premier League.
If we talk about favorites, then Real Madrid, Manchester City, PSG and Bayern Munich are the favorites so far, but Arsenal cannot necessarily be favorites when they have not yet decided their fate in the second leg of the round of 16. The match against Porto in the second leg is just as difficult as the first leg, so both have the chance to win a ticket to the quarter-finals regardless of who is the favorite.
