Chelsea is in the middle of nowhere in the Premier League. There is neither back nor forth for them. Now will they sack him at the end of the season or are they willing to stick to a coach who has a squad that is worth more than a billion and yet is not even able to qualify for the Conference League? I know that Pochettino will mention old problems that he had to first solve before they could achieve new heights, but I don't buy that argument. He can get almost every player he wants, they have spent almost half a billion again for the season 23/24 and yet they suck.

The only light at the end of the tunnel could be the average age of their team. They spent around 300 million for four players with an average age of 22. The point could be to develop them, but if they cost 300 million, it begs the question why they would need so much time to get going?
