I don't think we need to talk too much about Girona, I mean their performance will never be the same again next season. There will be players who come and go, as will coaches, so changes in their strategy and opportunities next season are very possible. Think of Girona as a seasonal team that is only good this one season and returns to their habitat next season, unless they get a big investment from their owner.

Girona may need to maintain their performance until the end of this season and they will certainly need to improve next season if they want to compete for the title. But I wouldn't be at all surprised if they ultimately failed.
If we look at the traces left by Girona in Laliga (Premier Division). I don't think Girona deserves to be called a seasonal team. Because as far as I know, Girona has appeared in La Liga for two seasons and in my opinion, every season he has played has always shown good development. For example, last season, Girona, as a newcomer to LaLiga (first division), was able to achieve positive results by being ranked 10th and able to excel over 10 other LaLiga teams. Then in the current season, Girona showed even better performance by occupying second place in the La Liga standings. So in my opinion, so far Girona has been quite consistent in their struggle in the first division of La Liga.

And maybe for next season, I think Girona will come back with better performance. The reason is that there is a big possibility that Girona can get a ticket to the Champions League this season and of course this is a high motivation for Girona to continue to improve their shortcomings so that they can produce even better results. So basically, in my personal opinion, Girona is not quite right to be called a seasonal team. Moreover, the trigger was only because at the end of the season Girona seemed to be experiencing a decline in performance.
even though a decline in performance is a normal thing that happens to all football clubs. So this cannot be used as a benchmark for the future of a club, it will end badly.
