Besides he should think about the possibility of Guardiola's departure in the future as well. We all know Guardiola built this squad according to his system completely. In case of his decision to leave just like Klopp has done next manager choice will be really important for Manchester City. If they can't bring a manager who will continue with a similar system then things can get really interesting. However I assume they would think of bringing Arteta in that case who was already Guardiola's assistant before.
Yes, Manchester City also have to think about that because Pep Guardiola's contract for next season has expired so Manchester City has to decide now, not just think about players who still have a long period of time to extend their contracts. I think it would be better if Manchester City extended Pep Guardiola's contract because this choach has built a very good squad. Now if Manchester City makes the decision to change coaches, it is not certain that the new coach will be able to build a squad as good as Pep Guardiola.
