Most people initially thought that Manchester City would win the title again this season. But with the three teams currently in the Premier League, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, it has become very difficult to predict which team will emerge as the champion. However, Liverpool have suffered a bit of a performance disruption, their style of play is not that strong at the moment and they are now on the same level as they were at the beginning of the points table. However, it can be believed that either Arsenal or Liverpool are more likely to win the title this season as Manchester City are not in such a good form right now. However, if Manchester City performs well in the next matches and Liverpool and Arsenal do not play well, then Manchester City will definitely go to the top of the points table again. Likewise, I think three teams are going two-a-day in the title race this season and it's still unclear which team is more likely to win the title.
I still see Manchester City as the main contender for the Premier League this season. They might have lost some points but they have the most consistent team in the league. Arsenal's inconsistency played out when they lost the league last season, therefore I also believe that they don't have the capacity and mentality to hold on to the top to the end. Liverpool's current quality is encouraging but I don't have the conviction that they can be the champions like I have in Manchester City. The league is open to these teams and from now on every single point is important to these clubs. Although City has the kind of team I think will win the League I prefer either Arsenal or Liverpool to be the champions. Having City become champions for three straight seasons will mean that the EPL has become less competitive just like the French League.

No club will achieve anything good with such an inconsistent performance. Chelsea was one of the clubs that some football pundits believed would be a major contender for the title this season because of the quality of players and an experienced coach. But their inconsistency has pushed them out of the league of respected clubs in the EPL and put them in the class of average clubs. Except they keep winning till the end of the season, they will have to wait for next season to qualify for any European competition.
