Looking at the Liverpool vs Man City stats I understand why the result was drawn. They both played evenly matched. Man City are good because they play at Anfield. Liverpool and Man City both made 6 shots on goal. Their possession of the ball didn't differ much either. Both teams are able to exploit weaknesses with opponents well. But with the current conditions I am happy with Man City's game. In fact, I like Man City as much as you do, so I hope Man City can win against Arsenal on March 31.
Liverpool was superior in total number of shots and possession of the ball, but both teams both fired 6 shots on target. A draw was fair enough, but it actually made Arsenal benefit. Arsenal leads the standings because they have a higher goal difference than Liverpool, which is what makes them lead the standings.
The next match against Arsenal will make Manchester City perform better, especially because it is their chance to take over the standings from Arsenal and Liverpool, but Liverpool seems to have an easier match compared to Arsenal and Manchester City. Liverpool will only have a postponed match against Everton, which gives City and Arsenal the advantage.
