I think Barcelona achieved a good success by eliminating Napoli. This year, they are in the race for second place in the league together with Girona. I don't know who will win this race, but I think what is more important for Barcelona than La Liga is to win the Champions League. They will be extra motivated for the Champions League and want to beat the other match. Real Madrid, on the other hand, will most likely finish the season as the leader without any surprise losses.
It takes Barcelona some seasons to participate in Champions League quarter final round again. It also helps Barcelona in finance and by playing in quarter finals, not yet mention they will win or lose and will go to semi finals or not, they will get $80M in this season with their so far adventure in Champions League.
In a financial crisis, this means a lot for Barcelona as they can use part of it to pay debt and can avoid star player bleeding to other big clubs in Europe. Success in Champions League this season will help them to tighten their internal connections between players and can be good foundation for their next season.
In La Liga, they can focus on the second position that is currently held by Girona. It will help them to gain a little bit more money for the league award too.
