You have said well and your case is not so different from many people's case, which includes me. I knew Bitcoin a year earlier than you and missed so much due to the lack of interest. Your plan on altcoin is a good one as well, you are diversifying and there are still many of them with good projects, and are still low. You may want to plan around them and get the best from them even as they move in multiples of their current price within the next year.
