It doesn't matter if you still believe Barcelona can compete with Real Madrid for the title but for me, I'm fully convinced and would say that Real Madrid are already assured of the La Liga trophy this season. It doesn't matter if Barcelona manage to improve their performance because after all, an 8-point gap is not a close point gap so it will obviously be difficult for Barcelona to catch Real Madrid or maybe, very unlikely. Because after all, Real Madrid is basically a team with above-average quality and thus, Real Madrid will certainly be able to consistently get good results in the remaining matches remaining until the end of the season. Saying or hoping Barcelona wins the title this season, I think it's just like an empty hope because it's impossible to happen.
Competition is something that is normal; even a team that is weaker than Barcelona can compete. The thing is the result, which is the outcome of the competition. When we want to talk in terms of strangeness, experience, and performance in the La Liga this season, it is obvious that Barcelona cannot compete with Real Madrid because they cannot catch Real Madrid in the table.
However, I think anybody thinking that Barcelona will win the title this season is just saying based on what he or she wishes to say, but it is obvious that is not true because I didn’t see any performance with Barcelona that will make us even hope for them to win. They are weak; they are the third in the table, so did you think Girona are going to allow Barcelona to overtake them and take their position? I don't think it will be possible.
