Folks, the only reason we're implementing KYC for this campaign is because it would be abused within the first minute of its launch otherwise. Unfortunately, some of you are ruining it for others.
You can try different method to avoid being abused such as requiring a Bitcointalk account with specific rank in able to claim the bonus. You can PM only the bonus code to whoever show the interest on claiming this bonus. This way you can guarantee that your promotion will not be abused without the need of using KYC because there’s no one here willing to claim 20$ bonus with high wagering requirements in exchange for instant KYC.
Just exclude low rank user to participate on your promotion and require a minimum number of merits earned on 120 days to guarantee no multiple account from dormant account will be abusing your campaign. Best of luck.
Automating this process is essential. And anyone can share the promo code with a "friend." Any ideas for a solution?
I would suggest that you consider the Coin_trader suggestion. Although it is easier to recognize fake and duplicate profiles on Bitcointalk. I'm not sure how automated KYC is, but it just seems like extra work to me.
Also for scammers, passing KYC does not represent a serious problem, if they want they certainly have a way to manipulate this condition with fake documents.
The bottom line is that in this way you turned the planned promotion into opposition to itself and demotivated more users than the promotion will attract. You have already hired a manager for the signature campaign, why don't you talk to him about an effective campaign?
