As for Mbappe's move to City, this will only be possible if Real buys Haaland.

I don't think so, because both of them are still quite good players if in the end there is a possibility that Manchester City will bring Mbappe then there is no harm in taking Haaland because he is a pure attacking type player in contrast to Mbappe who is more on the wing with his speed and Madrid needs a pure striker like Haaland if in the end Mbappe is at Manchester City.
But for now agree with what was said that Manchester City can only bring Mbappe if Haaland leaves or indeed have to give up Haaland if Manchester City really want Mbappe in their squad because however it will not be possible for a club to unite two players of the caliber of Haaland and Mbappe now because of their large salaries and value.
