CSW can request an appeal, but the appeal judge can look at the request and see if there is any actual real value evidence that can put into question the verdict, to be worth actually going to an appeal case to be seen in court..
appeals dont just happen where a request results in new court room drama, appeals can be denied if there is nothing worthy(no new compelling evidence)
especially with the forgeries, he would have to provide something really substantial, just to even get an appeal to go ahead before even getting into an appeals court
in short he has to show something compelling for it to move to a ongoing appeal case.

According to British Legal System, yes, He has right to appeal but if the three top judges decide that his forgery is very much well enough to verify that he is a high profile fraudster who is trying to use the British Legal System to commit further fraudulent activity then those three appeal judges will not cast their votes against Lord Justice Mellor's judgement and Craig Wight will be given any Chance to appeal.
But, as we know, judiciary are under the influence of invisible people in high power can influence the appeal judges to grant him a chance for appeal. In that case Craig Wright must produce evidences without any kinds of forgery. If it found that he has supplied forged doccument again that will be the end his appeal and the court can decide after investigating the evidences consulting with COPA barrister Lord Hough. If barrister Hough can confirm to the appeal judges that Craig has again supplied the forged documents then his appeal will be denied.
The appeal judges normally will not cast any doubts on the judgement of Lord Justice Mellor. So Craig Wright may not get a chance for an appeal in this case.
