I think both teams are focusing their attention on other leagues besides the Bundesliga, because they are both in different leagues this season where Bayern Munich are still in the Champions League in the last eight. Likewise, Bayer Leverkusen is still not eliminated from the Europa League this season even though Leverkusen is still concentrating on the Bundesliga in order to make greater history this season. Because if Leverkusen is able to win the Bundesliga and is also able to win the European League, of course Xabi Alonso will be very happy and he will be targeted by many other teams from various leagues in the coming season.
Bayern Munich and Leverkusen still existing in European competition with Bayern focus for playing in quarter final round of UEFA Champion League against Arsenal and West Ham will be opponent team for Bayern Leverkusen in quarter final of Europe League. Both teams won't loss their potential trophy exactly for Bayern Munich with less possibility for winning Bundesliga tittle after remaining 10 points from Leverkusen.
Xabi Alonso seems more happy with quarter final drawing match because face not strong opponent teams and difference with Bayern Munich have focus in Champion League and will make any rotation with their regular player near future for first and second legs match against Arsenal in Champion League matches.
