I guess as the bitcoin halving is approaching, it is like a hype among investors to buy as much since in past there have been trends of bitcoin reaching all time high price after the halving. I think there will be a bit of bear market that will come right after a few months of halving as hype fades away, then I guess it would be more wise to buy instead of right now when it is breaking all records and we don't know when and at how much it might stop!
Right now it's pointless for regular people to buy BTC IMO. It's very expensive, an opportunity to buy it cheaper might come. I stopped buying it when it crossed $40k.
You don’t have to buy the whole portion of bitcoin just to acquire bitcoin investment. Just buy a small of portion of it and continue with DCA. Although I have to agree that entering the market now is quite risky due to bitcoin’s high price. But if you are here not for quick profits, but definitely for long term investment, then I don’t see its pointless buying bitcoin this time. You know it’s a lot better than having no investment with bitcoin at all.
If you really have unused funds and enough to be able to buy Bitcoin, I think you should just do it, but if you don't have any, I really agree that buying with existing capabilities or using the DCA scheme is also very good and can be done. The current price is high; if you buy but the halving period has not yet arrived, of course it is very worrying that there will be a correction, so you will wait a long time to be able to earn. Indeed, Bitcoin is a long-term investment, but the 4-year period is in 2025, when it is predicted that the price will increase significantly, so now is the time to prepare.
