Bayern Munich should focus their attention on the UEFA Champions League because Bayern Leverkusen would not allow them to win the Bundesliga title this season. With the recent struggles of Bayern Munich, it will be hard for them to win the UEFA Champions League trophy this season.
If I were Thomas Tuchel, that is what I will do, there is no point fighting a lost battle. They should surrender the Bundesliga and focus on the UEFA Champions League that is even more prestigious than their domestic league. Even with their second eleven, they can finish the season among the four teams that will play champions league next season, they just have to win few matches to guarantee a slot and thereafter direct all their resources to the champions league where they stand a chance even though they don't seem to be the favorite to win it.
For the todays evening game Cologne vs Leipzig there should be no normaly no problem for Leipzig to win that if they want to catch up on the CL places.
My bet is already placed for Leipzig and hopefully we dont see any surprise result here.
This match should be one of the best of Leipzig that I have seen in a long while. They displayed everything that make them a great team in the match even though they were unable to win first half as many people expected the match to 2/2 HT/FT. Another option that would have been better is over3.5 goals and this entered perfectly well as the match ended 1:5. Leipzig have to maintain this pace if they will play champions league next season because the battle between them and Borussia Dortmund is becoming tougher as the season progresses. If Dortmund win their match against E. Frankfurt today, which is unlikely, they will return to 4th position while Leipzig will be relegated to the 5th position. Although I do not see this happening because I'm projecting a score draw for the match between Dortmund and E. Frankfurt.
