Both are equally necessary and important because if you don't have money, how can you access the best education to have the best knowledge? Let's look at reality, rich families always send their children to international standard schools and must admit that those children have broader knowledge than children who only study at local schools. So it can be said that the two have a close relationship with each other because most talented people will make a lot of money , and vice versa, talented people are very good at making money.
I agree with you that we should not separate the two, because both are important factors in our lives. Both money and knowledge are basic things that we have to strive for, I mean if we have money then we can do something easily, and with knowledge we can have many opportunities to get something we want.
It would feel strange if we separated the two, even though both are important aspects of life. I would rather say that the two should be balanced, and that way it could be better than us having to compare something that we don't really need to compare. Everyone has their own role in life and we have to make it work hand in hand.
