40 days in the books for me since starting this challenge. That’s 4,000 push-ups! I’m glad to see Bitcoin rallying so hard with the hope that we will soon be able to declare victory over this challenge. With a little luck we’ll get there before the halving so we can all get some much needed rest for our muscles.
Just 10 days for me.. In a very short time I have tried to make some variation in my quality of life, although I have increased my push-ups but only slightly.I'm a bit fat so it's hard for me..actually I'm doing 6 push-ups, 2 times a day, afternoon and night. Just I going to walk in the morning. I'm feeling nice participating with you, I haven't lost weight yet but I hope it will if I do regular push-ups.

You started this thread with a push-up of $100k of bitcoins with a good will and I think your aim was initially successful. Now bitcoin price is going up and down from $70k to $72k...maybe it will take some time to reach $100k...I think if the price doesn't reach $100 a in this session then you can open 2nd session again or next 3rd session..Just like we can't do 100 push-ups at once, splitting the session. You can split the session too.

I just shared my idea.
It is good that you are doing something rather than nothing, but it seems that you need a certain number of reps for each of your sets and then maybe even adding more sets per day, and I am not sure how you get that, because 2 sets of 6 pushups in a day do not seem like very many.. .. and maybe there could be ways to do modified pushups in order to get more reps.. if you are not already doing modified pushups in order to increase your reps.. and maybe work up to 3 to 5 sets per day or something like that.. and maybe add 1 more push up to your sets every few days.... If you are doing full body pushups and ONLY getting 6 pushups, then that might be too much strain on you body, and so it would be good to work up to a set of 10, even if they are modified... 3 to 5 sets of 6-12 pushups per day might be really making progress... and so that would be 30 to 60 push-ups.

In contemplation of your goals and maybe how much weight you are pushing, this article has some suggestions regarding number of repetitions and sets.
Yes... you are right, it would be great if the set can be increased little by little every day. In this case, the level of effort will increase and time will be spent. It can definitely help me lose weight. There is another problem... if you work hard, the food level increases... so how to lose weight? We have to live with many problems. The body needs protein for energy, eating it again increases weight... In this case, the level of meat can be increased. However, it is important to keep checks and balances on push-ups and meals. Only then fat people like me can lose fat, but it is not an easy task.

Personally, I am a pretty big advocate of low carb and high fat diets.... so trying to stay natural with your foods, and then you can eat as much as you want as long as you are cutting out most of the bad stuff that might be high in sugars or high in unnatural kinds of oils or very processed foods that have a lot of artificial ingredients that interfere with your body's absorption of nutrients.

So maybe it depends upon what you are eating, because if you are starting to eat more, but you are eating better quality foods, even thinking about eating natural foods instead of processed, then you should still be advantaged, even if your appetite might have been getting higher based on your increasing levels of activity... without knowing more about the kinds of food you are eating, it might be more difficult to say what kinds of adjustments that you might want to make in regards to the kind of foods you are eating.   If you eat a lot of carbs then those have more likelihoods to keep you from losing weight.. especially processed carbs..

I do know that sometimes when I eat a lot of foods with dairy, I will get a bit sluggish in my work-outs, so sometimes I try to moderate my dairy, or maybe eat some of the dairy after I do my pushups rather than before, even though I am spreading my pushups through the whole day. so I am not completely able to do my push-ups before eating, even though I try to structure them a bit in that direction when possible.

Another decently important component is making sure that you are sleeping well, so then if you have the increased activities through your increased focus on daily exercising, then maybe that would also help you to sleep better too.. perhaps?.. so yeah 6-9 hours of good sleep helps your bodies recovery and likely its abilities to process nutrients better.

I got two sets of fifty in today for the first time. It felt pretty good. I feel like there’s hope that I could get to 100 straight by the time we hit $100K if I can manage to keep it up. This challenge has been going on long enough now to where I’m proud to see people sticking with it. I know I would have missed a day by now if I didn’t have this thread going so thanks to all the participants.

The two sets of 50 is a very good accomplishment.. and yeah if you are able to accomplish more pushups in one set then that would also be good.

I am still stuck mostly between 30 and 40 each set, and I just have to wait for my body to be ready.... because I know that I could push it, but I also know that my body is not ready since frequently if I get into the 40s push-ups territory, I have a lot of strain and I am just not powerful enough in terms of either my joints or my muscles, and for sure I want to be able to do other things and also do further sets of pushups, so I am only going to push myself as far as I can feel that it makes sense for me.

By the way, a couple of days ago, I went for my walk and was walking through a park that had some exercise equipment, and surely there can be some envy in terms of seeing some of the exercises that guys (and gals) are doing outside and sometimes a bit hot and uncomfortable, depending on what time of the day.. I was walking late afternoon, but people still doing pushups on the cement and other kinds of exercises. I even saw really fat people exercising at that particular time, and doing pushups against the cement barrier of a short wall.. so it is easier for them... but yeah, they are doing them as part of a group, and I feel some admiration for different skills people have, and also there can be group exercises (and classes outside too).. so yeah, groups are ways that sometimes people can do exercises that they might not otherwise want to do.

Another thing I'm changing is I'm going to make the last set of the day, an as many as I can do set.  If that makes sense.  Today it was 22.

That makes sense.  I might have to try something like that.... and maybe there could be some saving up for either the last set of the day or a certain set that will serve as the attempt to maximize.. scares me just to think about it... .. regarding your 22... in order to get 152 in a day, then that means that you have been doing a lot of sets with relatively lower counts in order to get to your total...  I suppose that could work, but there likely is some value in resting between sets.. but yeah, each of us has to figure out what kind of a balance works for us..  We do get to know some of the limits of our body when we are doing these kinds of activities.
