What about people who go to offline casinos then? They seems to care little about privacy, as security cameras are all around. Or people who place bets using mobile while being on the sports event. They dont hide mobile screens, and with enough luck, anyone could observe what they do. Providers knows every time someone enters a gambling page.

When people try to keep their gambling habit as a secret, I think they do it because they are afraid of shy to give honest answer how much they have won or lost if they are asked. Otherwise I see no reason why to keep it in a secret. If someone asks me if I gamble, I would tell yes. If I find out or know that someone gambles, my attitude wont change a bit towards him. It is his business and adult can do everything he wants.

I think it depends on each individual. If they are really ignorant people, maybe they will do what they like as long as it doesn't harm other people, they will still do it, but if you gamble in a public place, it can be seen from the country that allows or does not allow gambling, if in that country gambling is not allowed. but they gamble openly as you said, maybe they are ready for the risks related to the law, or maybe they are not afraid of what will happen next.

I would be embarrassed if other people knew about the gambling activities I was doing, even if it was a win. because in my country gambling is prohibited, but that is not an obstacle or barrier, the proof is that there are still many people who gamble online, some even do it while broadcasting live because they want to increase their income from the many people who watch it, and there have been no cases of arrests. fast with those who gamble by broadcasting live broadcasts. Everyone has different thoughts, therefore we can do whatever we want, but the note is that what we do should not harm other people. that's what you have to remember.

Gambling in a country where it is illegal, or when a person is underaged is one thing. The other thing is when gambling is legal, you are free to do it whenever or wherever you want. In general you do nothing bad. But, some people still want to keep it in secret. I would understand if you win millions and want to hide that fact from family or dont want to pay taxes. But there are people who gamble, lets say once a month. They place $10, while they earn several thousands monthly. And they hide fact of gambling. Why do they do that?
I wonder why people often take things as a big deal, it should not always be like that unless for other genuine reasons. In the first place, gambling is not a serious investment means or plan, so why take it as if someone would wreck you if they knew you gamble? Secondly, it is never easy to gamble and make money, so telling them that you win at times may not amount to something serious in my thoughts because no one knows the next time you will win again, it might even take months, so there is no serious reason why we should take it as if it is our crypto wallet. From another school of thought, it will be a good decision if one can still keep it due to the bad circle he keeps. Anyone can have their reason based on the friends they keep, the family they have, and the community they are in, letting out such may not be so good as it could be a serious security threat to let them know about it, especially if the person gains often.

Lastly, some people might not be responsible in their gambling lifestyle, so they are keeping it to avoid shame. But instead of doing that, why not strive harder to be a responsible gambler? That's the only way proud gambling can be made. And if it is a stereotypical kind of situation in your locality, you may hide it. But in the absence of that, I urge such people to work towards a responsible gambling and personal lifestyle and do their thing the way they want without so much care about what people would say about them.
