I was just wondering what the life of full time trader or merchant trader or big whale investor would look like, and one question that seem to strike my curiosity is, what do big time traders or merchants or whale investors do for fun?
What do they do as a hobby that keeps them focused on their task?
Do they see movies while trading and waiting for an outcome or do something else during the time?
Trading is not a full-time job, and I believe that the majority of people who trade full-time also participate in extracurricular activities. They cannot always be trading 24 hours a day. Once they've mastered the concept of trading, they can place their trade, add the necessary configurations, and go about their daily activities.
Whale investors do nothing after investing. They simply keep an eye on the market to see how much money they have accumulated and what profits they may have made. They are even more engaged than traders and do not have time to read charts to determine the market's direction. They are primarily psychologically motivated and are not swayed by market movements.
Even a full time job might require some occasional distraction inorder to perform efficiently and it may be gaming or gambling or seeing a movie or socializing, hence why I asked.
So far though, it just points to the fact that both a small or big time trader are just humans and would do human stuff while trading in order to remain sharp and stay psychologically motivated despite the market volatility and trend movement at the moment.
I still have to ask though, does the trader who gets distracted with chores and some hobbies while waiting for the results of a trade or yet to make a trade, perhaps much more successful than the person who just does trading for some hours non stop, no distractions in the form of hobbies or movies or gaming?
