People should stop using Arsenal's last season's mistake to judge them this season. Arsenal's head coach tried to almost win the Premier League title for Arsenal last season. I think Mikel Arteta has learned from his mistake and also gained experience that will help him perform better in the seasons to come. Arsenal will not allow Manchester City to win them because they know it cost them the Premier League title last season, and the same thing could happen if Manchester City still wins this season at the Etihad Stadium.
I have started to ignore such criticism because to me they seem to be useless if we consider the stats of Arsenal last season and this season. The main factor that affected Arsenal last season was injuries to some of their key players including Thomas Partey, William Salina, and Gebriel Jesus, but they have played almost half matches without Gebriel Jesus and Thomas Partey and some new signings which include Julian Timber and some important players in the squad like Tomiyasu and Zincheko, yet, Arsenal performance is still on top.
I know that the last season’s mistake of lack of squad depth and in experience caused Arsenal the Premier League title last season, but with squad depth and the performance they ready displayed this season, I don’t think they will repeat the same mistake because they have defeated the defending Champions and also defeated Liverpool so far this season, if Arsenal can beat Manchester City again at Etihad stadium this time, there is no doubt Arsenal will win Premier League this season.
