What LoyceV said actually reminds me of how I messed up the slide for my project defense.

During the time I did my project defense at the university, I prepared my slides so colorfully ❤💛💚💙💜 that when I sent them to my supervisor to get a review and remarks, the first question she asked me was, "Am I a baby? She said playing with too much color in coolly written content can actually make the content look offensive to the readers. Color should only be used when there is a need for it; for example, it should be used to point out some action words or incidents that the writer feels are very necessary for the readers to take note of. Color should be used in accordance, not just to paint your whole write-up with too many colors.

@OP, I agree with what some people have already said here: make your write-ups simple, and if you are not sure of how to correctly use the color, just avoid it.

The poll is not about me and my use of color. I love colors, that's all, so please don't get personal, because I can get personal too. The poll is about whether or not text formatting should be allowed. In case you did not know, it is the year 2024 and Stone Edge is long gone, so just come out of your cave.

I'm all for using formatting strategically, but if it gets in the way of clear communication then what's the damn point?  Just keep it clean and simple - you can get your point across without turning your post into a circus poster.

Actually what you are saying is that your Signature is a circus design!

Well, it worked, didn't it? Mission accomplished!

how about red now

Do you have the guts to tell your signature campaign manager that the signature looks like a circus? I don't think so!
