Sevilla used to be a strong club in La Liga, but I don't know what went wrong for them. They even find it hard to dominate their favorite competition, which is the European League competition. On paper, Sevilla is the favorite to win against Celta Vigo, but their inconsistency this season made them not win against Celta Vigo, even though Celta Vigo is also struggling this season in the league.
Sevilla have only 6 points more than Cadiz in relegation zone and I won't consider Sevilla as a strong team with trouble they have now. It started since the last season and still continues to exist in this season. Cadiz are in more serious trouble than Sevilla but 6 points are not a safe difference for Sevilla.
Even if they can stay in La Liga after the season ending, it does not mean this season is a successful one for them and no guarantee that they will be able to improve in the summer and play better next season. If the trend continues next season, Sevilla will come nearer to relegation risk in La Liga 2024 - 2025.
