Sevilla have struggled hard in the Spanish La Liga for two consecutive season just to manage staying barely above the relegation zone on the table. Sevilla will be playing against Celta Vigo which are also struggling to fight for survival from relegation today. Since both of these teams are desperately in need of points, I guess this match between these two teams might ends up with a draw.
Sevilla used to be a strong club in La Liga, but I don't know what went wrong for them. They even find it hard to dominate their favorite competition, which is the European League competition. On paper, Sevilla is the favorite to win against Celta Vigo, but their inconsistency this season made them not win against Celta Vigo, even though Celta Vigo is also struggling this season in the league.
Actually you are right in that you did said Sevilla used to be a tough and top team but this season has been a whole different one for them, they have a poor form and had not been really productive enough, they always have to draw or struggle to win but then they have had equal losses aswell, they definitely don't seem like they are even capable to finish well except to make sure not to be relegated.
I don't think they will even be able to qualify for the Europa again because most definitely they are not getting a place in the champions league, seasons ago they used to be a team that you can consider reliable in the fact that they are always making sure to be around the top four team even if they have not won the la Liga often but they still manage to be considered amongst the top teams before but in recent time's they have declined so bad that they just keep managing to stay afloat with the fact that they don't get relegated but hopefully they will get to improve.
Sevilla was actually Unable to secure a win at home against CELTA Vigo who happens to be a team who's struggling aswell to get to stay above relegation, I taught this would have been an opportunity for Sevilla to get three points and see how helpful it will be to helping them rank up but sadly they couldn't even after getting to score the first goal of the game, they still lost, it was actually disappointing.
