When people miss their luck, or let me say that their luck miss them (how ever we wanna put it), they end up using those words like you mentioned, would have, could have, or should have done this thing this way or that way, I could have won lol 😂.
But the truth remains that, when luck isn't on someone's side, they never will win, and some people make the mistake of blaming themselves of someone else for the failure failing to realize that most outcomes in gambling is always as a result of luck, most especially on or in luck based games, those who won; won because luck was on their side, while those who didn't win; didn't win because luck wasn't on their side.
