It's really funny if we look at Atletico's big matches this season because they were so fierce against Real Madrid and so helpless against Barcelona. Last night's defeat proved they couldn't provide extra resistance for the Blaugrana squad and they had to suffer a crushing 0-3 defeat at home. Actually I didn't expect the result to be like this and at least if Atletico can't win then they can hold on to a draw.
After successfully beating and eliminating Intermilan from the Champions League, of course I am quite sure if Atletico Madrid will be able to beat Barcelona or at least give a fierce fight in the match, but it turns out that Barcelona can destroy Atletico Madrid very easily even though playing at the Civitas Metropolitano stadium, Barcelona's success in winning 3 points easily at home to Atletico certainly surprised us all because actually Atletico and Barcelona are two teams that are performing quite impressive at the moment.
Barcelona's victory over Atletico Madrid also broke Atletico Madrid's unbeaten record in home games in La Liga this season, since the season began Atletico has won 13 times and drawn once when they played 14 times at home, besides that with this victory Barcelona also recorded now 8 wins and six draws when playing away at once they can coup Girona's position in two currently, The victory over Atletico Madrid I think makes Barcelona will be able to end the season as runners up this season especially in other matches Girona had to lose points to Getafe, thus making Girona's current position even more difficult to continue competing with Madrid and Barcelona.
