But I agree with you. Even though last season Real Madrid was humiliated by Man City, this is not the case because now Real Madrid is better and stronger. It is proven that currently Real Madrid is still at the top of the Laliga standings. Additionally, with the arrival of Jude and several other players, the Real Madrid squad is almost complete compared to last season. So my prediction is that Real Madrid this season will definitely be able to eliminate the defending champion (Man City) from the UCL league competition.
I am not going to underestimate any of this teams and I would not also chose one team over the other as the favourite for this clash. After the draws of the quarterfinals was released, the both coaches statement send a very vital view on their respective opinions of the game. It is just obvious that everyone of them are scared of each other and every one of them are looking to win the game and qualify for the next round. Both team are still strong in their respective competitions and that can’t be overlooked as far as this match is concerned. The better team will definitely win, but with the performance exhibited by both teams, it is hard to single handy chose one team over the other in this match.
Arsenal have real improved on how they play and you can see that in the league also as theyre still on top of the table with bery high goal difference. This match will be quite difficult but I still believe they can be able to do some magic at the Emirate to give them a boost before they head to Germany for the return leg. Even if they’ll be eliminated, I don’t think the humiliation will be as much as the past. The Barcelona VS PSG is another key match and I’m strongly believing PSG will be able to have the edge against this Barca side this time. Arsenal of this season is different from the Arsenal we saw participating in the champions league some years back which since then they’re just returning back to the UCL competition. Arsenal have come this far in the champions league competition and this is another good sign of a strong team to come this far in their first trials in the champions league competition. Arsenal would give Bayern Munich a tough time, but winning them is not what is certain yet until when played.
For the Barcelona and PSG match, I would love to see PSG go as far as the finals too but with the many signs now, I doubt so. Hopefully if they can get there, they should try and win the Champions League trophy this time around. It has been a long time chasing after it now.
