It was really shocking to me by the performance of the manager of Liverpool, because to me he was the one that made this Liverpool side lost the game yesterday by his wrong substitutions in the game, he took out the people that have most influence in the game from this Liverpool team, and that emboldened Manchester united to start having that believe that they can come back into the game, which they did, and eventually won it on extra time, So I think that now they will have more focus on the premier league and the uefa Europa league, but it's not a good thing to throw away an opportunity to lift a trophy for another one which you aren't sure of winning.
Well it's true Jurgen was to blame for the poor performance of his boys but I guess he had settled within himself that in life you lose some and win some. Imagine this were the Premier league I doubt he'd do that because there will be a lot riding on his decision. Let's say he had to sub his best players to bring on the average ones so he can at least rest them for the game in front with Brighton as I regard that game more important than this one they played against Man UTD.
Right now, Liverpool are second place with 64 points but the Gunners have the advantage over them with goal difference and I don't think they will joke with the game by letting the opposition take advantage because that would mean a drop in points and I doubt they may be able to come back if that should ever happen.
I won't blame Jurgen Klopp completely, because in every match Liverpool doesn't always have to perform well. Sometimes the situation and mentality of the players also causes concentration on the field to become chaotic. Liverpool are aware that what they are facing is Manchester United, a club that is not at its best, but that doesn't mean their players underestimate their opponents. EPL teams always have games that can sometimes be superior, sometimes worse, this all applies to any club. So Liverpool's defeat should be a note for everyone, not just Jurgen Klopp because in this match several players also made mistakes, including Nunez, who at that time was a turning point in Manchester United enthusiasm, rising from Rashford goal. It's good that Liverpool were knocked out of the Europa League because they had a lot of time to concentrate on chasing Arsenal and maximizing their only chance of winning a trophy. So that in the future there will be no more excuses such as a busy schedule, Liverpool will have more time to improve their performance.
