I understand what he is saying. But it is definitely a great optimism to actually think that Mbappe was going to join his team
At this point any player, young player who is showing any kind of potential should stay as far away as possible from Manchester United. Because if they actually join Manchester United it is most possibly going to be the start of the end. Any player who has recently joined Manchester United with a lot of hope has not been able to deliver at all. Better think about changing the coach instead of trying to bring in more new players. I am actually convinced that Ten Hag has an account in Swiss bank where he keeps a percentage of the money that he spends for bringing in new players
