Yes, I agree with you friend. This season Liverpool has performed quite well compared to other Premier League teams. The reason is that this season, of all the matches played by Liverpool in the Premier League, Liverpool have only tasted the bitterness of defeat twice. This is different from Liverpool's two rival clubs in the Premier League (Arsenal and Manchester City) which have more losing records. So from here I can also conclude that Liverpool is indeed superior when compared to Man City and Arsenal.
Apart from that, this season Liverpool players have often been hit by injuries. Because of this, Liverpool's performance often looks less consistent due to this. Liverpool already have won the Carabao and were on course to win the quadruple this season until their hopes was cut short by United who were able to win them away. But that doesn’t mean they’re a very poor team. They still are chasing the treble and have better chances of winning both the league and the UEL if they’re very serious. Though they’ve been hit with injury crises and though we can say that’s not an excuse as other teams too have been hit by same injury but you can’t compare with Liverpool which makes them have over 10 players out yet they still try to still keep the fire burning and are chasing real hard. I’m very confident on Liverpool than Arsenal. I said so cause Arsenal are good at giving up when they're very close to achieving success in winning the trophy just like they did the previous season. Which gives Liverpool or City an upper hand in winning the league.
I really think that Manchester United got lucky in this match. Otherwise, it should have been the win for Liverpool. Of course congratulations to Manchester United for being able to go through to the semi-final of the FA Cup. And the semi-final is going to be very easy. Because it is going to be against Coventry.
