FC Barcelona will have to keep an eye on Robert Lewandowski this summer. The club is eager to get rid of the Polish player. There is an operation that could facilitate his departure. Atletico Madrid is looking to make a move to swoop in Lewandowski, if Barcelona attempt to get rid of him. Should be interesting to see Lewandowski at Atletico Madrid. It could turn them into contenders once again if Lewandowski gets back in form.
Robert Lewandowski is the second biggest earner (27 million euros a year) in the squad right after Frenkie de Jong. This is a really big load on Barcelona as long as he performs like this. His scoring performance has dropped quite much since the previous season you know. He still has a contract that expires in 2026 now but I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves in the summer either.
It is all depending on Barcelona's plans for the attacking line. They have signed the young talent Vitor Roque but I wonder whether they think of replacing Lewandowski with him in the starting lineup soon. If Barcelona work something out about his transfer to another team then they could fill his place with a more productive player maybe.
