I don't think the world cup would be interesting like this. They should have just left it for just one country to host. Well, let's see how it goes. As for the the 48 teams instead of 32, I like it. It would make it possible for more countries to be part of the tournament. The world cup is always an interesting tournament no matter what but it's going to be really difficult to see a world cup more interesting than the one we just had in Qatar. I'm a big fan of the world cup and I always anticipate it. I hope the next one proves me wrong and becomes more interesting than that of Qatar.
The most interesting thing to note in all of this is that, 2026 fifa world cup tournament have more teams than it used to have and from that we have to understand that there will be need for more facilities to host the game and that the reason why they have involved other countries instead just the united states hosting all and since this is the first time the inclusion of multiple countries/team, it far better not to be hosted in one country so as to allow for diversification and proper management if it be one country the cost of managing the event may become too overbearing for FIFA and the host country.
When the Qatar hosting happened, alot of football lovers really enjoyed the tournament because of the level of organization and the Available facilities, and this time, United States may likely have more facilities in terms of stadium and other things but considering the numbers of countries coming for this round of the competition, it best to make available other countries facilities so as to give observers the best form of entertainment, so for that, this season will be one of the most interesting seasons in history of FIFA.
