Let's hope that Manchester United will get better under the Sir Jim who has been lots of promise that he want to knock Liverpool and Manchester City out from their dominance in the premier league. I just hope things go according to his plan. Liverpool has tasted success under Klopp and I think they would want to maintain that standard. Klopp leaving isn't going to end the ambition of Liverpool to keep competing at the highest level, they have been linked to some high profile coaches which I think can take the club to the next level if they get the right funding and backing of the owners. As for Manchester City they keep getting better.
I have no clue how Ratcliffe will have an impact on the team, but from what I understand he knows some stuff about football. I am wondering whether he will keep ten Hag as the coach or whether he is already making plans behind the scenes for the new season. I don't think that a lot of investors or club owners would be happy with ten Hag as the coach. But for the time being it might be the best solution as Ratcliffe understands that the time to try it with second tier coaches might be over. If they are willing to build a project with long term prospects, it is time that they finally find a high-profile coach with a proven track record. The money shouldn't be a problem, but availability is an issue. There aren't many coaches available and those who are available could again be more of a compromise.
