To be honest, it is a shame that these two elite teams had to meet in the quarter-final match. Madrid versus City meeting, just like last season. Madrid was the home team in the first leg, but the meeting between these two teams was in the semifinals. So, will this match be like last season, the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw. Or, Don Carlo's squad is able to win the match and overthrow City with the new system he is currently implementing.

In the Madrid camp, several of their players, especially defenders, were unable to strengthen their team when they hosted the match against City because they were still suffering from injuries.  Meanwhile for City, only Ederson is likely to miss the big match. What is certain is that City will not underestimate Real Madrid, because I am sure Pep Guardiola is always wary of his opposing team, especially in the Champions League competition.
On the other hand, Ancelotti really knows how strong Manchester City is, especially if Pep Guardiola's squad is on fire. Pep can apply several different patterns and systems in the next match, and maybe Don Carlo will also do the same. I'm pretty sure neither Pep Guardiola nor Carlo Ancelotti will take this match lightly.

Moreover, if I refer to the betting exchanges that bookies provide, the odds available do not really have a significant gap. It's only natural, because after all these two teams are kings in their respective domestic leagues.  but for the time being, even though this match is an away match, City is the favorite based on the betting market. Honestly, I can't wait to watch these two teams battle.
