Regarding future of the Xabi Alonso we have nothing officially because his contract is going to end at the end of 2026 which mean 2 more years even currently he is having few big offers, but we can't give anything perfect but as situation is going most chances he needs to stay at the Bayer Leverkusen for one more year which is good for the club and him as well now after long time we have serious threat for the dominance of the Bayern Munich which is also needed to be stayed at their head but in soccer we have many factors which works and predictions are never been easy while we have any quick change can happen.
In this summer, we are going to have too many changes in top tier clubs which are looking for the coaches so can they attract him for the new role it's also going to be important but as we have few statements from the officials of Bayer Leverkusen most chances he will stay here.
As far as I know, Alonso has reached a verbal agreement with Leverkusen that he will be allowed to leave in Summer 2024 if the club receives a suitable offer. There is no written release clause in Alonso's current contract with Leverkusen (term until 2026). If they want Alonso's signature, other teams must pay 25 million euros in compensation. And with the latest moves, Leverkusen is ready for the future without Alonso. The club's CEO, Fernando Carro, said Alonso is just one piece of the club's puzzle, and things will not fall apart if ALonso is not here anymore.
This depends on what Xabi Alonso's decision will be, whether he will leave Leverkusen or whether he will prefer to stay. At the moment there are still many who say that Xabi has had great luck this season with Leverkusen, so if he wants to prove that wrong then he would prefer to stay in my opinion, but if he is going to use this opportunity to manage a bigger team in the league who is more competitive, then it is likely that he will leave Leverkusen.
Currently I don't see any signs that Xabi will stay or leave, because it seems he prefers to first focus on Leverkusen to become champions in the Bundesliga, even in the Europa League. He likely realizes that he must complete the tasks he has now before he decides what he will choose for his future. Stay or leave, I'm sure Xabi will consider this as best as possible, because this also concerns his career as a coach, he will consider it carefully before finally making a decision.
