As I said in the previous post, although Girona's position is quite safe with a 6-7 point advantage over Bilbao and Atletico Madrid. however, there are still 9 matches remaining, which could possibly destroy Girona's mission or target of finishing in the top four of the La Liga table. We know that Atletico Madrid is experiencing unstable performance. however, that doesn't mean Simeone is unable to improve his team's squad. moreover, Atletico still has one meeting against Girona at the Metropolitano. ATM just needs to improve and appear consistent, so they can finish in the top four of the La Liga table. so, in the remaining 9 matches Atletico still has a chance to qualify for the Champions League.

Apart from that, Girona has a match against Barcelona. Now Barcelona is not too bad, especially after the main goalkeeper has returned to guard Barcelona's goal. if Girona is inconsistent again, that means a drop in ranking could occur.
