The rising price of cooking Gas in Nigeria has affected Nigerians Even as many Nigeria homes are now resulting in alternative fuel source. FG have taken various steps to reduce the high cost of cooking gas in Nigeria, it is also important to Note that since cooking gas is imported using The United States Dollars,Same will continue to increase if the Nigeria Naira continue to devalue.
I'm not sure cooking gas is imported, we have natural gas in Nigeria and we have LNNG in bonny Rivers state that processes gas for local use and export some. Most of the power plants in Nigeria are gas turbines and are basically extracted locally.  I believe the rising cost of cooking gas is as result increase in transportation, especially from dealers to suppliers and is basically caused by fuel subsidy remover. How the government intend to fight the rising cost is what i cannot phantom, because will they be fighting the cost of transportation and the multiplier effect of inflation that has affected those of them that are into the business.
