You said that participating in the lottery is very fun. I believe that this is the most important condition for participation, I mean fun. If a person is going to participate in the lottery to win, then most likely this is not the best idea. I like your attitude, having fun is the main thing.
I also agree that participating in all free such events is a very wise move. One day you may be able to win, but you don’t lose anything in any case.
