I have around 2k USD of btc and I wanted to swap it for something but I can't decide whether to buy eth or Solana both seem extremely promising in the far future.
hmm, if will at your place I would never swap my total net Bitcoin for Ethereum or Solana indeed both are good projects for the long-term holdings but in my opinion, if you want to swap Bitcoin with Solana or Ethereum my recommendation would be Ethereum and I will also choose it for this bull season. I have heard some people saying this Solana is overvalued for now but I do not agree with them and some are highly bullish on Solana.
if you still wanna swap your Bitcoin into any of these two so I will recommend you to swap some fraction out of Bitcoin into Ethereum like 50/50. hold fifty percent of your net portfolio in Bitcoin and hold fifty percent of your net portfolio in Ethereum. Sounds good but bitcoin would have to go up a ton (trillions of dollars) in order for my investment to be worth something to me. Solana has a low market cap making it perfect for long term investment since it has a lot more upside potential. If I invest 2000 dollars into solana right now and it goes up 10x then I'll make a whole 18000 dollars. Even if it doesn't it's still a good long term investment because of all of the cool projects on its blockchain.
