It’s better we support our own local product, but when the problem starts from is that, local products are not produced well, most people prefer to go for foreign product because you are going to get the quality which you need. Let me use the rice which is being produced in dis country as an example, you will notice that if you buy some locally produced rice in dis country, they are not properly processed, some you go see stone and other things inside, but if you buy foreign rice, you no go see all those things inside, na y most people prefer to go for foreign rice,  if no be for now wey rice don turn gold.

U don see reason why people dey prefer foreign products, if we self start to dey produce things, and we dey do am well, then definitely people wey dey go dey buy am, if they just know say Wetin u dey produce dey okay. But for dis country, we don dey use to make we dey manage always.

If their is increase in foreign products, then expect a increase in local products also, na Nigeria for u be that, but it’s not suppose to be like that, if local products are cheap, most people will end up going for it, but if both local and foreign products are competing in price, then most people will rather go for the foreign products instead of local ones.
