Leipzig and Dortmund are closely matched in the Bundesliga with only one point separating them. While Leipzig has not been as consistent as last season they have a good chance of finishing in the top four. Dortmund has a challenging match against Bayern Munich next week, which could impact their position. Leipzig, on the other hand, has a more manageable match against Mainz. Thus Leipzig may have a slightly better chance of finishing in the top four than Dortmund IMHO.
This season's Bundesliga is very different after Leverkusen performed impressively, forcing Bayern Munich, who previously dominated the Bundesliga, to finally recognize Leverkusen's greatness. Under the guidance of Xabi Alanso, Leverkusen became a team that other Bundesliga teams feared and made the Biundesliga competition no longer feel interesting because the point difference between Bayern Munich and Leverksuen was quite large, namely 10 points.
So currently the eyes of all Bundesliga fans this season are focused on the battle for UCL league places, namely between Leipzig and Dortmund. These two teams have the same chance of entering the top four. Dortmund itself in next week's match will visit Bayern Munich's headquarters, of course victory will be difficult to achieve, especially as Bayern Munich certainly doesn't want to lose points in this match because that will further widen their gap with Leverkusen. Meanwhile, Leipzig will face a lower-class team, of course they will win easily and overtake Dortmund in fourth place. This is a difficult week for Dortmund, we should see whether they can get three points when they host Bayern Munich?
